Well, I'm kinda nervous! Tomorrow is the dinner and auction. I hope lots of people show up and I am able to get my surgery! My mom has been so busy I have barely seen her. Gus has been keeping me company. We have been playing tug of war with a few socks he has found. I am also trying to talk my papa into feeding me a little more. (Im on a diet and grammy won't budge! With everyone busy, papa is my best bet for an extra cup of food!) :-)
I have been trying to be a good boy and sleep and rest my leg. However, the big winds and smells outside just get me so excited!
My aunt Katie and Grammy have been helping my mom bake tons of cookies. All this food around make me so hungry! I want to eat it all... but they keep telling me no and to stary out of the kitchen. I just want to help them.
I know some of you can't make it to the dinner and want to donate. My mom called the vet and they said you can donate directly to them.

My mommy is making truffles!
My mommy is making truffles to help raise money for my surgery. She is making oreo truffles! Unfortunately I cannot have any. She says I can't have chocolate. She won't even let me sniff them! She's made a lot, and since I can't eat the entire batch, you guys better buy some. Otherwise my mom might eat them all, and I'll never get my surgery. She is selling a box of 8 for $10. She also made cookies for $1 for 2 or you can buy a dozen cookies for $5. My grandpa keeps eating a bunch of cookies (the ones my mom calls them the reject cookies) so they must be delicious cookies!
If you want to buy some cookies or truffles email me at hope_for_jake@yahoo.com. Or send me a msg on facebook!

HI. I'M JAKE.. MY LEG HURTS REALLY BAD!!
Well, here's my story. I love life. I really do. I love to run and jump and climb and chase tennis balls and sticks! I love swimming and taking all the toys. One day, all of a sudden, my leg really hurt. My mom took me to the doctor and he said I needed to rest. So I didn't get to play for several weeks. I was supposed to be fine after that.
Well, this past year my knee has hurt a lot! Sometimes I can't even stretch out my leg. Sometimes I quietly cry. My mom took me to another doctor and he said I had a torn ACL. He said I should have had an operation a long time ago. Now my leg is worse than ever. The doctor said it would cost almost $2000 to have my operation. My Dad says it's too much money and I should be "put down." I'm only 3 years old and I've got a lot to do yet. I don't like the sound of "put down." My mom is going to try and fundraise some money for my operation.
